To help celebrate National Drink Beer Day on September 28, PR Hacker conducted the Budweiser 'Beer With Your Buds' National Survey on behalf of our client, Anheuser-Busch. 

To conduct the study, we surveyed 2,000 Americans about their top drink to enjoy with friends at a bar or other social venue. 

So what do Americans prefer to drink while out with their friends?

You guessed itbeer! 

Beer reigned supreme as the American drink of choice, topping the list at 36% most preferred (followed by a margarita at 17%)Meanwhile, an overwhelming 67% of beer-drinking Americans prefer domestic beer over imported beer (33%).

Overall, the East is the U.S. region that loves beer most (40%), followed by the West (36%), the South (34%), and the Midwest (33%).

So whether you prefer it in a mug, or drink it straight from the can, Americans prefer to celebrate with beer—American beer, to be exact!
