GARY KAPLAN created the world's first home computer magazines, 99'er Magazine and Home Computer Magazine, setting up foreign sales outlets in over 50 countries.

Bootstrapping the magazine, Gary grew the global business to more than 500,000 readers, over $10 million in revenue, and 150 employees—generating and capitalizing on millions of dollars in PR during this journey.

He has supplied business intelligence/advice and concluded strategic deals with leading tech companies such as Texas Instruments, Apple, Microsoft, and IBM. Additionally, Gary was invited by Steve Jobs to help develop software for the NeXT computer platform (which eventually became the foundation for Apple's modern-day desktop and mobile operating systems).
